SheepVar

Welcome to the Sheep Variation Database

SheepVar is a comprehensive sheep variation database built from 5,603 resequenced samples (53.9M SNPs, 3.8M Indels) and 7,013 50K Illumina chip samples (41K loci). Together, these datasets cover 135 domestic breeds and 8 wild relatives. The platform supports variant search, multi-omics annotation (WGS, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq), as well as selection signal analysis, genotype imputation, and more. This extensive catalog provides a benchmark of ovine variants and promotes sheep genetics and breeding research.
