SheepVar is a public repository of sheep genomic variation that integrates SNPs and InDels with comprehensive annotations, including genomic context, evolutionary conservation, ancestral state, population allele frequencies, molecular QTLs, epigenetic features, and signatures of selection. In addition, SheepVar provides online genotype imputation services for SNP array data.

11/02/2025: Genome Browser module was launched for visualization of genomic features, annotations, and integrative multi-omics signals.

10/09/2025: Genotype Imputation functionality was implemented based on the reference panel.

08/10/2025: Molecular QTL data and animal QTL datasets were integrated and made available.

07/15/2025: ChIP-Seq and ATAC-Seq datasets were processed and made available with peak-level annotations.

06/08/2025: Genomic Signature module was launched.

04/05/2025: WGS data processing was completed, and high-quality SNP and InDel variants were released.
