Welcome to Agricultural Animal Omics Database
The omics data (including de novo assemblies, genomic variations, spatiotemporal gene expression,
epigenetic modifications, etc.) for many livestock and poultry species is growing exponentially.
However, the lack of proper integration present an obstacle to in-depth exploration and interpretation
of these massive data. We are aimed to integrate available omics data for human and domestic animals,
and build user friendly web interface for scientific communities to use.
The AOD project
Ruminant genome database
Ruminants have great significance in agriculture, environment adaptation, animal conservation, and biomedicine. We launched the Ruminant Genome Project (RGP) that newly de novo assembled 47 ruminant genomes and developed this database.
Resources & Tools:
- 55 ruminant genomes and annotation
- Synteny blocks and orthologous genes
- Epigenomics signals
- Gene expression
- QTL data
- UCSC Genome Browser
- Blat & Blast
Animal variation database
The animal variation database is a data repository that focuses on the variation information (SNPs, Indels, and structural variations (SVs)) and selection signatures. The distribution of population allele frequency is shown on the world map.
Resources & Tools:
- SNPs, Indels and SVs
- Selection signatures
- Epigenomics signals
- Gene expression
- QTL data
- UCSC Genome Browser
- Blat & Blast
Animal pan-genome database
The pan-genome is supposed to contain the 'whole' genomic contents of one species and thus is merging as an alternate to the current reference genomes. We construct pan-genomes and databases to help communities easily use the improved genomes.
Resources & Tools:
- Pan-sequences and annotation
- Pan-sequences location
- Copy number variations
- Gene expression
- UCSC Genome Browser
- Blat & Blast
